Senior Performances

Our Senior Production is the biggest event of our year. It is the year-end program for our students in 3rd grade classes and above. There are many areas where you can serve -

Row Moms: Chaperones for our younger dancers are required for rehearsals and performances at the high school during production week. This is a great way to serve our girls who stay in the balcony and you don't miss any of the program!

Ticket Sales: Sell tickets at the door before the performance. This year tickets will be sold via tututix, so it is helpful if ticket sellers are able to maneuver through the ticket purchase process easily (this site is how you buy your tickets to the performance).  Please report to the area in front of Mrs. Barker's portrait to receive your instructions an hour before each program. You won't have to miss the performance, but will need to have purchased a ticket if you plan to watch.

Ushers & Program Hander-outers: We need a handful of people at each program to hand out programs or to help direct people to seats in the auditorium. Your job will be done by the time the curtain rises. Arrive 45 minutes prior to curtain and report to the area in front of Mrs. Barker's portrait for exact instructions.

Meal Coordinators: Our faculty and staff are away from home for the majority of production week. Traditionally, classes have taken on the kind task of feeding them during that week so they can devote their time and energies to making sure our students are looked after and prepared for performances.

Costume Assistance: This may mean something as simple as washing a load of clothes or some basic hand-sewing. If you are crafty, it could be using a glue gun. It can also mean alterations or actual construction. If you feel comfortable with a needle and thread, then you can help!

Set or Prop Construction: This, too, can mean using a glue gun or a paintbrush. It might also require someone who can use a saw and a hammer. Dads are good in this department. You might also be needed to work backstage during rehearsals and performances. What a great way to get a different view of these events!

Staff Meal Coordination: Over the years our families have so generously provided meals for our staff during production week. Our faculty work very hard and don't get the opportunity to grab a meal between classes and long nights of rehearsals and programs. Generally, a different class is assigned a different day.
